SINOTRUK’s Cell-to-Pack (CTP) battery system has been purpose-developed for battery-electric commercial vehicles. Its highly integrated architecture and flexible modular configurations support a wide range of applications, including urban distribution, medium- and long-distance transport, and long-haul operations.
Compared with conventional module-based battery systems, the CTP system combines blade cells with purpose-designed structural enclosures for cab-under and under-chassis installation. It delivers a 10% increase in space utilisation, a 3%–6% increase in gravimetric energy density, a 6%–8% improvement in heat-dissipation capability and a 10% reduction in component count, enabling a more efficient and compact battery system layout.
Two purpose-designed battery-pack types—W-shaped battery pack and U-shaped battery pack—form a flexible, scalable battery system. Different pack combinations provide 400 kWh, 600 kWh and 800 kWh capacity configurations, precisely matching the requirements of different vehicle types and operating applications.
Combining one U-shaped battery pack with one W-shaped battery pack, the 400 kWh configuration provides ample energy capacity without encroaching on cargo space and supports ultra-fast charging, making it ideal for efficient urban distribution and cold-chain operations.
Designed for medium- and long-distance and cross-regional transport, the 600 kWh configuration combines one U-shaped battery pack with two W-shaped battery packs. It extends driving range while maintaining a low centre of gravity and optimised axle-load distribution, supporting highly efficient operation.
Combining one U-shaped battery pack with three W-shaped battery packs, the 800 kWh configuration provides exceptionally high energy capacity for long-haul transport. It supports ultra-fast charging at over 1.28 MW, enabling charging from 20% to 80% state of charge (SOC) in just 20 minutes and meeting the rapid-recharging requirements of long-haul operations.
