From departure to destination, the system uses high-definition maps, road information, topographic data and real-time traffic flow for global route planning and dynamic speed control, enabling the vehicle to proactively adapt its driving strategy to different road conditions. The system supports motorway functions including intelligent dynamic speed control, assisted motorway entry and exit, assisted evasive manoeuvres, assisted lane-changing and overtaking, and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA). Predictive speed control reduces repeated acceleration and deceleration and optimises power delivery, lowering fuel consumption while maintaining safety.
Millimetre-wave radar, lidar and high-definition cameras are fused to provide multidimensional monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings. The system continuously scans the near-field area, identifying vehicles, pedestrians and potential obstacles in real time. When a risk is detected, it issues timely warnings and assists the driver in taking evasive action. To date, more than 2,800 vehicles equipped with intelligent driving systems have entered operation, accumulating more than 430 million kilometres of assisted-driving mileage. The mBSP modular braking system features a highly integrated architecture that reduces component count by 30% compared with conventional solutions. Simplified wiring harnesses and pneumatic lines reduce potential failure points and maintenance requirements. Brake response time is reduced by 0.1 seconds, while braking distance from 60 km/h is shortened by more than 1.5 metres, further improving emergency-braking capability when unexpected hazards occur.
The immersive intelligent cockpit supports both touchscreen and voice interaction. The AI voice assistant can operate multiple vehicle functions by voice, reducing manual inputs and distraction while driving. Intelligent maintenance services connect the vehicle to the service network, digitally coordinating fault diagnosis, service-station recommendations and parts enquiries. Fault-related communication time can be reduced by 40–55%, while the first-time fix rate can improve by 15–25%.
The MC14 engine is paired with a 48 V mild-hybrid system that uses regenerative braking and electric drive assistance to deliver combined fuel savings of up to 5%. The 48 V system can also power the parking air-conditioning system for 6–8 hours, providing a more comfortable mobile living environment for long-haul drivers.
